Your home should feel like the best version of you.

homeowners

You have been living with the compromise long enough. The layout that does not quite work, the finishes that were someone else's choices, the rooms that never became what you imagined. You know what you want. You just need the right partner to help you get there.

Wondering what construction, furnishings, and design services cost for a project like yours? Our estimator gives you a ballpark based on your home, your scope, and how much support you are looking for.

We bring more than design taste. We bring a process that protects your investment, keeps the project moving, and makes sure the decisions you make today are ones you will still love in twenty years. We ask the questions most designers skip, we document everything, and we stay with you through construction — because a great design that does not get built right is not a great design.

What We Bring to Your Project

We take on select residential projects in Michigan and beyond, with a focus on historic homes that deserve a thoughtful next chapter and meaningful renovations and custom builds of primary and vacation homes, especially those surrounded by nature or water.

add-on services

For projects where we manage the full furniture process: we place orders on your behalf, track every item through production and delivery, coordinate with your receiver, oversee installation, and handle any damages or discrepancies that come up along the way. You also have access to our trade pricing, which typically offsets a meaningful portion of the service fee.

Furniture Procurement

Historic Preservation Tax Credit Administration

Federal and state Historic Tax Credits can represent a significant equity source for your project but accessing them requires precise documentation, sequenced submissions, and sustained compliance through construction. We manage the full Part 1, 2, and 3 process, coordinate with the State Historic Preservation Office, and keep your project in alignment with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards from design through construction closeout.

Before tax credits come eligibility. We prepare National Register of Historic Places nominations and local historic district applications, building the documented case for your building's significance. This work can stand alone as a strategic planning tool or serve as the foundation for a full tax credit application.

Historic Designation

featured Projects

Some homes are designed once and finished. This one is different. Over fifteen years and five distinct phases, this beloved lakeside residence on Silver Lake in Traverse City has evolved through a process that mirrors the family itself: growing, deepening, and becoming more fully itself with each passing season.

This beach getaway will hold both sides of its barrier island home: the brilliant, sparkling Gulf and the darker, more mysterious character of the back bays

Florida condo renovation

Some homes ask to be rethought from the inside out. This one asked for something more specific: a place where a busy family could actually breathe.
