Reed Walker Design Collective supported the Bloomfield Township Public Library renovation as lead interior designer, change leadership partner, and stakeholder engagement strategist in partnership with C2AE. Building on extensive pre-design research, staff workshops, user journey mapping, and strategic planning, our work helps translate the Library’s vision into inclusive, functional, and welcoming spaces for patrons and staff.

The renovation centers on connection to nature, inclusive community, and honoring the Library’s existing heritage, with schematic design priorities including improved sightlines, additional study and program spaces, relocated service points, enhanced wellness and sensory spaces, diverse seating, and a stronger patron experience. RWDC’s role also extends beyond design into change leadership, supporting communication, engagement, training, and stakeholder alignment throughout a phased renovation process.
